Albatross Lufthansa City Center

Albatross Leisure was established in October 1998. Robert and Busaba had been working at Laguna Phuket and realized that there was potential for a nice romantic terrace restaurant and a full service travel agency where tickets could be issued without having to cross the island of Phuket. From small beginnings we started booking hotel accommodations, day trips in the Phuket area as well as doing airline tickets, cruises and car rentals and the business just kept expanding. Having both worked in 4-5 star hotel environments putting the customer first and speaking the guest's language came naturally.

After becoming fully IATA licensed, Albatross Leisure became part of the Lufthansa City Center (LCC) network in 2007 and in 2010 won the most active LCC award. Albatross hosted the Asia Regional meeting in 20.. and at least one of the Directors has attended every General Assembly since joining the network.

Albatross Lufthansa City Center is a unique agency in that it caters to a demanding and very well traveled clientele- many of whom are today leisure travelers because the have purchased a second or first residence in this part of Thailand. A few years before they would be considered corporate travelers working for their own or other large companies. Delivering custom made trips quickly and efficiently is what distinguishes Albatross from other companies.

With the myriad of travel options and the appearance of many low cost flight and hotel options Albatross can quickly identify and present the client with the alternatives clearly so that the latter can save time and money if so desired. Being part of the Lufthansa City Center network has enabled this agency to have access to special discounts and price offers generally not available to the general public.
